We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Afterschool Counselor. In this role, you will provide vital support to our Dream Academy team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our program. Your responsibilities will include:

· Work with youth in afterschool program from 3:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
· Responsible for planning and executing creative lesson plans (workshops provided for completion of plans)
· Responsible for the maintenance of the classroom
· Good attendance
· Job based in Grovetown – Reliable transportation required
· Assist other staff members as needed
· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or currently in a Work Study Program
· Dependable
· Willing to learn activities to teach youth ages 7 – 12
· Able to work with a diverse group of people
· Able to adapt to changing circumstances and tasks
· High energy
· Previous experience in a classroom setting is preferred, but not required
· Must be able to pass background check, drug test and have safe driving record

Hours:

Pay starting at:
$9.25/hour for highschoolers
$11/hour for college students
