Governor's Office of Student Achievement reports how suspension may worsen math and reading scores

A new Governor's Office of Student Achievement report found that the more suspensions a student received during K – 3, the worse they performed on reading/ELA and math CRCT and EOC tests—a pattern that held across all race/ethnicity groups, gender, poverty status, disability status, and English learner status. Augusta Junior League Holiday Market

Augusta Junior League Holiday Market

Holiday Market

Holiday Market is presented by the Junior League of Augusta, Georgia and has become a holiday tradition in Augusta.  The 7th Annual Holiday Market will be held November 10-12, 2017 at the Columbia County Exhibition Center. In 2016, we sold out of booth space and our merchants enjoyed more than 3,000 shoppers over the 3-day event.

Every ticket purchased promotes the Junior League of Augusta, Georgia’s Mission to support the community by improving the lives of women and children. Feel great about the gifts you share this holiday season knowing that a portion of that gift is making a difference in the life of someone in the Augusta community. The Junior League of Augusta thanks you, and we look forward to seeing you at the Holiday Market!
