Plant the Promise

In honor of Red Ribbon Week, Columbia County Community Connections, along with community partners, is hosting Plant the Promise with a 5K kickoff. Plant the Promise is a week long event where members of our community plant tulip bulbs that will bloom in the spring. The tulips serve as a reminder to live a healthy, drug-free life. Each year we host the Plant the Promise 5K to kickoff Plant the Promise and Red Ribbon Week. Runners will be given a tulip bulb at the end of the race! All proceeds for this event and campaign will go to support prevention efforts among the youth who live in Columbia County. Mark your calendars now for the 2021 Plant the Promise 5K on October 23.
